Coolbarz

Coolbarz is a lightweight app that lets you add up to three additional toolbars to your desktop, in addition to the classic Windows toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Each of these toolbars can be configured independently, letting you activate and deactivate them at any time. Other settings let you change their color, borders, how fast they appear, transparency, and shape.

To add shortcuts or folders, all you have to do is drag and drop them inside the new toolbars (they open by default when you move your cursor to the edge of the screen). Once you have them set up, you can use them just like the classic toolbar.

Surprisingly, this application doesn't require any installation. You just have to open the ZIP file, place the executable file in any folder, and then double click it. From that moment on, as long as you don't deactivate the option to start with Windows, the program is always active.

Coolbarz is a pretty interesting application that can help you organize your desktop. For example, you could put games on the right bar, programs for work on the left, and important folders at the top of the screen.
